We want you to be comfortable & instructed during your session! We know from past experience that one our clients' biggest concerns is that they will have to do the posing themselves or that they won't know what to do. We promise this will not be the case during your session! We do our best to always give instructions and walk you through every single pose.
As much as we love traditional posed images, the candid and joyful images have become our favorite! However, despite contrary belief, candid moments are actually far from uninstructed...We will walk you through these moments as well! In order to capture these relaxed images with a candid feel, we give our clients prompts that involve movement. During these prompts our best advice would be to have FUN! Be a little silly, laugh, & interact with one another. This is what truly produces the best images and the ones you will look back on later and remember the fun of the moment!

Your hair may not stay curled, your kids may not want to smile, but don't stress! We promise to capture images you love no matter what happens, as long as you are able to relax and accept the circumstances!
Whether it's just you in front of the camera, both you and your significant other, or your family, the first 10 minutes may feel awkward! However, after you start going through the poses we promise it will feel much more normal and not a big deal at all!
Make sure to check back on the location we have agreed upon to make sure you are aware of how far away it is & what parking it like. Feel free to ask us for parking recommendations if you're not sure!
Traffic, parking, last minute outfit adjustments, makeup touchups, etc. are all things that take a little more time than you might think. After years of photographing sessions, one of the top things we would suggest to our clients is to plan to arrive early. It will eliminate all the stress that comes with running behind!
If your session is 1 hour or longer, we give you the option of having more than one outfit! However, often time there are not any good places to change besides your car. Keep this in mind when planning which outfit you're wearing first!
Once your session starts, try not worry anymore about the outfits or what your hair looks like. The more relaxed and joyful you can be during your session, the more you will love your images. You will also have way more fun!
